Mitsui Fine Chemicals, Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hisayoshi Tanaka) has received Silver Certification as an excellent health company from the Tokyo Federation of Health Insurance Associations (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).

1. Reason for certification

It has been requested that the Mitsui Chemicals Group acquire Silver Certification as an Excellent Health Company, and it has continued to maintain this certification since 2022.

2. Acquisition requirements

To obtain Silver Certification, Mitsui Fine Chemicals, Inc. declared it would achieve 100% of its employees having health checkups and subsequently acquired the certification based on its efforts in the following areas.

 

  1. Utilization of the results of medical checkups
  2. Creation of a health promotion environment
  3. Food (improvement of dietary habits)
  4. Exercise (promotion of physical activity)
  5. Smoking cessation
  6. Mental health
