Resin Coloring Dye

Mitsui PS Color, PET Color

Production of synthetic indigo dye began approximately 100 years ago in 1932 at Mitsui Mining’s chemical business, which led to the current Mitsui Chemicals Group. This is a synthetic dye for resin coloring that is manufactured using dye synthesis technology that has been passed down since then.

    There are resin coloring materials that are both dye-based and pigment-based, and we have dye-based materials.

    Due to their bulky chemical structure, the dyes have an anthraquinone skeleton that is highly durable against light and washing, and they also have coloring power.

    Application example 1: Dyeing of various plastics

    By dyeing various plastics in various forms, such as pellets, films, and sheets, you can create products with both color fastness and color development.
