High Hardness Urethane Squeegee
A brush that presses ink on a plate onto a substrate when forming electronic circuits, etc. in screen printing processes.
- Overview
- Applications
Urethane Squeegee
Squeegees are also used for calendar printing, and printing on electronic circuits, panels, etc., but the high hardness urethane squeegee is manufactured by Osaka Chemical Co.
Features of our squeegees
- Ultra-hard urethane material (JIS A hardness over 90°) enables thin and uniform printing and reduces the amount of expensive silver paste used.
- By reducing the force needed to press down on the printing plate, deflection is reduced and the angle of attack can be easily adjusted.
- The printing pressure can be kept low, reducing stress on the plate and extending the life of expensive plates.
- Urethane material eliminate concerns about metal powder related to metal squeegees, even for ultra-hard products (A(“Ultra Ace” hardness equivalent to 130° (*(D hardness 80°) “Ultra Ace”).°)).
- The tightly bonded two-layer squeegee has a high-hardness support that minimizes tip deformation of the tip, enabling uniform printing pressure to be applied.
The two-layer type squeegee is made of urethanes with different hardness, a hard one for support (the part gripped by the holder) and one for a soft tip (the tip of the blade), and they are tightly bonded to each other.
The MK type, which has a soft support and a hard cutting edge, enables stable printing on uneven substrates because the support expands and contracts according to the unevenness of the printed circuit board. - By setting optimal conditions for the plate, paste, and printing machine, highly sensitive printing (line/space = 20 μ/20 μ) is possible even with selective screen printing.
- Good tracking performance and stable printing is possible even with large plates
- Elaborate specifications, wide assortment
The U-type has excellent solvent resistance.
We also have a type (the SU type) whose swelling caused by polar solvents such as NMP is reduced.
Thicknesses up to 2 mm for some types, and lengths up to 1,000 mm or 1,500 mm for others.
Screen printing of circuits for touch panels, ceramic capacitors, etc.
- Circuit printing in the manufacture of multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC)
- Circuit printing for touch panel manufacturing
- Application of other special coatings and solder pastes
